Install the software and start Product Manager for Magento.

 

The Configuration Wizard is displayed. Click "Next" button to continue.

  

Enter the website URL. You can copy and paste it from a web browser. You can add more servers by clicking "Add pre-production server" button.

Enter the other URLs. Click "Next" button to proceed.

Enter a username and password. You don't have to use the same username and password that you use to log in the Magento admin. Check "Remember password" if you don't want to enter your password every time you login.

Click "Browse" button and select a destination folder to save the PHP file used to communicate with the server.

"

 

Select the folder and click "Save".

"

 

Click "Next" to continue.

"

 

The configuration is complete. You can click "Open file location" button to open the folder where you saved the PHP file.

Click "Finish" to close the configuration wizard:

A windows appears to remind you to upload the PHP file on the server:

Product Manager displays the connection window:

If you click "Connect", the server returns a 404 error as the php file isn't on the server yet:

Now you need to upload the PHP file to the server. Connect to your website with a FTP client:

Drag and drop the php file to upload it on the server in the Magento root folder:

The file is uploaded:

Click "Connect" in the connection window:

If the PHP file is installed correctly, Product Manager loads all the products.
