What's new in Product Manager for Magento 2.0.0 (May 29, 2017)

 

New features

Magento 2 support

The new version of Product Manager is now compatible with Magento 2.0.x and Magento 2.1.x.

New tabs in grouped product, related products, up-sells, cross-sells, configurable product grids

Position, price, description, inventory tabs have been added to the grids in the product editor.

 

You can drag and drop product images to change the positions.

 

The values in the Position column are updated.

 

You can customize the columns by right-clicking in the grid or in the header and selecting "Manage tabs and columns".

 

You can add or remove columns and tabs.

 

 

Display link to Troubleshooting connection issues page

 When a connection error occurs, the error message displays a link to the bridge file and a link to the Troubleshooting Connection Issues page.

 

Clicking the bridge file link opens the bridge file adress in a web browser. The browser displays the 404 error.

 

When the bridge file is correctly installed, the message "FATAL_ERROR_POST_FIELDS_MISSING" is displayed. It indicates that no parameters were passed. It is not an error in this context.

 

Clicking the "Troubleshooting Connection Issues" link opens the Troubleshooting Connection Issues page in a web browser.

The page contains troubleshooting information to fix all connection errors:

• - PHP file not uploaded on the server
• - Https/Http issue
• - File permissions
• - File owner

 

Bug fixes
- Fix copy and paste from Excel to multiselect cell
- Fix image addition when base,small and thumbnail images are "no_selection" (the new image was not set as base, small and thumbnail image)
- Fix disappearing text when editing price or quantity in product editor grids (related products, configurable product)
- Fix cell row heigh in related products, up-sells, cross-sells, configurable product and bundle items grids (Windows)
